Lofoten, Norway 2015

It only takes a few images of the Lofoten Islands to inspire a photographer – I was no different. I’d planned this trip for 3-4 years and was excited to spend nearly three weeks there in 2015. The Lofoten Islands are inside the Arctic Circle and so in summer, the sun does not go down. It’s known as the Land of the Midnight Sun – this is when I visited. To see the sunset and rise at the same time is both strange and beautiful. I’ve tried to capture this and the unique mountain ranges which are prevalent there.  Ray Wise
